I know what it’s like to feel stuck. This is the story of how I built the system that changed everything — and why I now coach others to do the same.

I’ve been active my whole life — martial arts since I was five, swimming and even swing dance through high school. Movement came naturally, and staying lean never felt like work.

But when I hit college, all of that structure disappeared. I lifted without direction, ate without discipline, and by the end of sophomore year I was over 200 pounds — frustrated, spinning my wheels, and out of control.

That struggle became the start of something bigger. I stripped everything down and began testing, studying, and refining. Over the last 10 years, I built a system that works in real life: three focused workouts a week, daily movement, and simple nutrition rules that you can actually live with.

I proved it on myself — cutting down to single-digit body fat, rebuilding my strength, and keeping it off, even through the seasons of life where training fell to the background. And when I realized how much this system had given me — not just a body I’m proud of, but the freedom to live my life outside the gym — I knew it was time to pay it forward.

That’s how Gritline Training Co was born.
